Kan Wang, CBC co-director, gave presentations on crop genetic transformation and genome editing at the VISCEA Conference, July 3-6, 2019, in Vienna Austria. Wang presented “Development of an open source maize genotype for genomic research” at the Plant Transformation & Biotechnology Symposium and presented “Site-targeted T-DNA integration in rice” at the Plant Genome Editing & Genome Engineering Symposium. The Vienna International Science Conferences & Events Association (VISCEA) is a non-commercial, non-profit scientific organization founded in 2006 to sponsor international scientific conferences.
